Here's what Lauren Macleod who worked for us in 2009 had to say about her experience here at Dickins:
'Being part of a small team at Dickins meant that I had a wide range of hands on experience right from the start. Not only did I have responsibilities in the office such as processing bookings and payments, and managing various databases, I also had the opportunity to visit and check the apartments and prepare all keys for customers over the Festival period.
This work experience very much helped me in getting my job today due to the variety of skills I gained during this time. I had a great Summer at Dickins, everyone in the office were extremely nice and made me feel comfortable straight away.'

'Special Offers' In Dickins Edinburgh Self Catering Apartments
There's still a chill in the air here in Edinburgh but nothing beats a brisk walk around the City Centre on a cold Winter's day. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre, you don't have to go far! Simply walk down past the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace and you'll find yourself at the foot of Arthur's Seat. Take a walk up to the top, blow away all your cobwebs and you'll also find the most excellent panoramic view of the city.
When visiting a city, self catering accommodation is a great option as it helps to keep down the cost of your holiday and allows you to choose exactly what sort of meals you want to eat. Another great thing about booking a self catering apartment is the terrific choice of properties available to choose from. You may choose to stay in a relatively small and modest property. However if there is a large group of you, you can select a self catering property which is much larger. This can be great fun as everybody can have a go at cooking and if you do not want to eat in you can try some of the local restaurants.
Dickins: for your Edinburgh home from home can cater for all your needs with properties ranging in style and size from modern studio apartments to large, Georgian townhouses. So why not take your family to Edinburgh or treat your loved one to a romantic Valentine's weekend away next weekend? You can sample one of the fabulous restaurants Edinburgh has to offer or show off your culinary skills by cooking an impressive meal for your other half in your very own fully equipped kitchen...?
Don't delay, take a trip to Edinburgh and book your Edinburgh 'home from home' with Dickins today!
